The picture below illustrates a plan the natural history museum in 2010 and 2013.
Overall, the museum has become more diverse and visitor-friendly with the introduction of a range of new facilities. It is also clear that the majority of the new facilities took place in the left side of the museum while middle remained intact.
Focusing on the 2010 plan, access to the museum was from bottom. There was an entrance hall, featuring Lobby and Ticket desk, behind which was large Ocean hall. On the left bottom of the museum Dinosaur hall was located, adjacent to which Mammals. To the right side of the museum there was a Garden.
Since then, the museum experienced significant changes. Except for the Ocean hall, Lobby and Dinosaur hall remained almost the same, while mammals area made way for to Ice Age exhibition and small room at the right corner for Insects.
New facility was built, which resulted in the disappearance of Garden. Other alteration include the construction of mammals, Shop, Café, Mammals and Human origins display.
