The two maps illustrate the layout of Grange park in 1920 and how it has changed in the present day. Overall, a noticeable change has been the replacement of the fountain, the stage for musicians, and the pond for water plants being replaced by modern facilities.
In 1920, the stage for musicians, which was located in the western part of the park was converted into an expanded amphitheatre for concert. In the center of the park, where used to be fountain, rose garden has been evected, which was previously situated in the northern part of the park in the past. The location of the seats that built along the edges of the park, now has been occupied by the garden .
Another significant alternation has been shown in the eastern part of the park. Pond for water plants has been removed to make way for children’s play area. Moreover, a water feature has been introduced in the south part of the part by knocking down the Glasshouse. Building the Underground car park make the park undustrialized. The only things that have not altered over the period are the entrance in the northern and southern part of the park and the location on Eldon street.
