The pictures compare a public park layout when it was opened in 1920 and now.
It is clear that the park has changed completely, however, the two entrances of the park are still in the same place and also the rose garden in the northwest has not changed.
The first picture shows the park centered with a fountain, which is adjacent to the two entrances from the north and the south. The first entrance accesses to the Arnold Avenue, while the second is connected to Eldon Street. Both entrances have not changed until now.
The second layout illustrates the changes. Firstly, the fountain was replaced with a rose garden surrounded by seats. These seats replaced all the five places for sitting in the 1920 version. Also, at the left of the Eldon Street entrance, the stage for musicians was expanded to an Amphitheatre for concerts. This led to canceling the three setting areas and the bottom rose garden. At the right of the entrance, a glasshouse was built on the old water feature place. In addition, a cafe and children’s play area replaced the north rose garden and the pond for water plants.
