The two maps illustrate the changes that will take place in the Biology School in a specific university at present and in the future.
Overall. it can be seen that several parts of the school, including the north-western, the western side and some education facilities, will undergo significant changes, while the central library, the indoor sports hall, the cafe, and the IT central will remain largely unchanged.
At present, the central library is situated in the middle of school, with a pine tree area to its north and teaching building to the south-west. To the east of the library is the drama center while the indoor sprots hall occupies the north-eastern corner. In the southern part of the campus, there is a cafe between the teaching building and the lecture room, and the IT central is situated directly below the cafe.
In the future, the pine tree area will be cut down and replaced by the laboratory, the office, although several trees will be retained, and the car park for staffs on the south-western corner of the school. The drama center will be converted into the music center, while both the teaching building and the lecture room will be divided into two separate blocks. In contrast, the central library, the indoor sports hall, the cafe, and the IT central will remain in the same locations.
