The map illustrates the changes in the ground floor of a library in 2001 and 2009. Overall, apart from facilities remaining unchanged, including films & DVDs, computers, stairs, and librarian’s desk, there were new categories’ stocks seen in 2009, such as kitchen, economics, etc and the substitution of some sites.
The data reveals that in 2001, there were only three specific books’ types, including fiction, history, self-help, stocked in the west and north of the map. Additionally, the stairs could be seen in the bottom right corner of the map, while the librarian’s desk was right in front of the entrance. Moreovers, after attending the floor, several small tables were built at the center of the map, next to the films & DVDs section. Besides, computers were erected at the opposite side of the self-help books’ stock.
As can be seen from the map, in the next eight years, several developments were constructed in the floor. Notably, the fiction’s stock was changed into tables; the tables in the middle of the room were replaced into longer sizes and shapes. Significantly, there were diverse categories’ stocks added to the books’ section, such as fiction, kitchen, economics, and so on. One noticeable point was that the directions of aforementioned sectors were unchanged.
