The most striking alternation has been to the nothern part of the area, where a new cafe has been opened at the gift shop, though it is noticable the stairs of ground floor has remained approxmentally the same. However, the statue, which is locaetd between gift shop and stairs, has been moved to the center of the floor. One of the most important changes is that children’s interactive zone and poster display area have been constructed in the area which has had an archaelogy gallery in 1990.

Another essential changes occured in the southern part of the floor. One of them, the enterance of a museum has almost doubled in size. Nonetheless, there were not any changes in local history room and natural history room. Additionally, the lift has been built among cafe and gift shop as well as natural history room.

Taken as a whole, ground floor of museum has undergone a number of major alternations during 20 years peroid between 1990 and 2010.
