The plans provided are of the Southwest Airport. The first diagram shows the present airport cross section ,whereas the second is the future of the airport after development.
The main feature of the plan after renovation will be the number of gates, which will change drastically from 8 to 18. The walkway will be transformed into a sky train, which will be time-saving and easy to use for the people. There will be a new bag drop counter before the passport and security check.
The arrival section will have a major change as it does not have any facilities at present and will include an ATM, cafe, car hire. An extra entrance for both departure and arrival will be added in the coming year. The car hire will be a game changer as people will not have to wait for long to book a cab or taxi. This development plan of the airport will allow large number of people to travel in a convenient way.
