The maps illustrate the changes of an airport between now and the next year.
Overall, the gates of the airport will be improved with the addition of ten more gates. Moreover, the airport will be improved with some facilities included with bag drop, ATM, Sky train and Car hire after redevelopment.
There are now two terminals at the airport with the entrances located in the south: the left one for departure and the right one for arrival, and each terminal has a separate passport control area. In the next year’s plan, the two passport control places will remain unchanged while an additional door will be added to each terminal. The facilities at the airport are now quite limited as there is only a cafe on the right and a check-in counter on the left of the departure terminal. However, things will be much different next year as an ATM, another cafe and a car hire section will be added in the arrivals terminal. In the departure terminal, the check-in counter will be moved to the right-hand side to make way for a bag drop area while the cafe will be relocated to the left of the entrance. Some shops will also be set up in this terminal, right after the passport control.
Regarding the northern part of the airport, this is now a rectangular area with eight gates leading to airplanes. Passengers can use the walkway to move around this area. Next year, the area will be expanded into a Y-shaped zone with eighteen gates while the walkway will be converted into a sky train to make it more convenient for passengers.
