In 1998: "reference books and maps" in the top left corner; "computers" below reference books; "local reference books" adjacent to the entrance on the left; "photocopiers" adjacent to the entrance on the right; "librarian's desk" in the top right; "study table" below the librarian's desk; "book display" next to the entrance near study tables and three sets of "chairs" around study tables. In the current layout: "coffee table" in the top middle; "self-service desk" in the top right; "study room" below the self-service desk; large oval "book display" in the center; "new books" below book display; "entrance" in the bottom center; three sets of "chairs" on the left side near the entrance.

The plans show information about two different places and the year when they were built. We had a library in the same area nowadays; in the 1998 library, there were more things and a working zone. The same place has fewer things and a smaller working zone but more free space, most likely made in a minimalist style.
The library was initially built for students, and we can see a computer zone which takes approximately one-fifth of the whole room. From this, we can make a suggestion that it was a very modern library for that time. Also, the 1998 plan shows an interesting zone like photocopiers for copying some documents or photos.
Nowadays, the place presents a separate zone for study; looking at the plan, we can draw a conclusion that it is a coffee house not only for students but also for just regular customers. Comparing the two plans, the second one is more for relaxation and short breaks.
