The diagram demonstrates how liquid chocolate is made from cocoa beans. Overall, there are 10 steps to experience before producing liquid chocolate, yet red pods of cocoa tree undergo two main phases, which are done manually and automatically.
Initially, ripe cocoa pods are picked which are grown in South America, Africa, and Indonesia, but of that only white beans are harvested, which are suitable to use in the process. Next, collected beans are fermented and laid under the sun to get rid of water. This ends with putting the dried beans into large sacks and delivering them to factories.
There, beans go through further stages prior to having final results. Firstly, beans are roasted and then crushed, while removing the outer shells. Subsequently, inner part of beans are pressed and thereafter chocolate liquid is extracted. Finally, the process ends here and liquid chocolate is ready for consumption.
