The diagram demonstrates the stages and facilities involved in the production of recycled paper.
Overall, the process consists of four primary steps, commencing with making pulp from used paper and concluding with producing recycled paper rolls.
Starting with the first step, used paper is transferred on a conveyor belt into a tank filled with water and chemicals, where pulp is made by submerging the paper. The newly made pulp then undergoes the filtering process, where the pulp is filtered through a dedicated facility.
Following the filtering step, the filtered pulp is made clean by being submerged in water and soap, in combination with the continuous airflow coming from a pump, releasing any ink remaining on the pulp. Subsequently, the clean pulp goes through a facility where pressure is applied by heated rollers, creating thin sheets of pulp and discharging excessive water. Ultimately, the resulting pulp is made into rolls of recycled paper, ready for consumption.
