Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my concern regarding garbage collection, which is not working properly in my area from the past few weeks. Firstly, garbage trucks are often late or sometimes does not come at all, leaving bins over-flowed for many days, and it creates mess on the streets in my area.

Secondly, this situation not only causes a lot of problems for me, but also for my neighbours. This is because there has been very disgusting smell around that place, which attracts insects. In addition, it is becoming unhygienic and uncomfortable to live in this area, especially for families who have children with them.

However, I would suggest that council should ensure regular and timely collection of waste. Also, increase the frequency of rubbish pickup, which could help all the people living in this area.
