The table and pie chart illustrates the police budget regarding the source and expenditure in one specific location of Britain between 2017 to 2018.
Overall, the maximum budget was allocated from national government, followed by local taxes and then other sources. Apart from increase in local taxes, there were no significant changes between the two years.
Regarding the expenses, salaries spent on personnel and technology decreased between the years whereas expenses in terms of buildings and transport however remained the same.
In 2017, around 175.5m was obtained from national government which slightly increased to 177.8m in 2018. Other sources also showed negligible raise. Conversely, local taxes increased almost 10.8m from 2017 to 2018. Altogether, the total budget was more in 2018 to 2017.
In terms of expenditure the maximum amount of money was spent on salaries which reduced to 6% from 2017 to 2018. Money spent on technology also declined to 6% between the years. However, expanses on householding remained unchanged which was 17%.
