The given table and the two pie charts show the financial information of the police for the years 2017 and 2018 in a particular region of Britain. The sources where the funding came from are indicated by the table while the pie charts below illustrate how the money was spent.

Overall, the total budget was higher over a year by increasing in all incomes in which the national government paid the most. Although the primary area of expense was on salaries, it tended to decline gradually in 2018, whereas the cost of technology rose.

In detail, starting with the table, the total amount of money increased from 304.7 million Euros to 318.6 million Euros. The money earned from the national government was the largest with 175.5 in 2017 and 177.8 million Euros in 2018. Then 91.2 million Euros and 102.3 million Euros were collected from local taxes each year. Moreover, about 38 million came from other sources such as grants and increased by 0.5 million Euros for a year.

Turning to the pie charts, it is clear that in both years most of the money was distributed to salaries of staffs and officers, 75% and 69% respectively in given years.However, more money was spent on technology in 2018(14%) but it was only 9% in 2017.
