Overall, it can be seen that Mandarin Chinese is the most widespread language in the world. It is followed by Hindi and Spanish. English occupied the third place in terms of the number of native speakers, and the first one as the favorite language to study. Arabic and Portuguese were placed at the end of the table.
According to the table , it is obvious that with a total of 1,090 million speakers and 900 million native speakers, Mandarin Chinese has only 190 million of people who speak in this language as a second, which is significantly smaller than the figure for English, with a 603 million speakers. Even though other countries use it a lot, only 339 million people speak English as a native. Another influential language was Hindi has 370 million native speakers but 120 million international speakers.
