The table gives information about the data of the world’s large-scale and small-scale of marine fishing industries in four different categories; number of employees,annual catch in food and industrial processing, capital salary of each job and annual fuel oil consumption.
Overall, The only majority of employees work in small- scale of local boats rather than large-scale of industrial boats.However, other three categories such as annual catch in food and industrial processing, capital cost of each job and also annual fuel oil consumption-all are highest in large-scale industrial ships.
Firstly, the larger portion of employees work in a small-scale of local boats about 12 000 000, While the only 500.000 of workers work in a large-scale of industrial ships.Furthermore, the annual catch in a food and industrial processing are about 29 million and 22 million tonnes in large-scale.Secondly, in the small-scale of local boats less than Industrial ships with 24 million tonnes. However, annual catch of industrial processing is almost none in local boats.
In contrast, another two categories; capital cost of each job and annual fuel oil consumption are the highest one in large-scale with around 30,000- 300,000$ of salary and 14-19 million tonnes of fuel oil consumption. However, 250-2500$ of capital salary and 1.5- 1.8 tonnes of fuel oil consumption in small-scale of local boats.
