While kindergarten was the level of education that experienced the greatest percentage growth of home-educated children, grade 1-2 and grade 5-6 always had the lowest percentage rise.
In 1999, grades 1-2 and 5-6 had the same proportion of home-taught children (1.5%), while it was 1.6% for grades 3-4 and 7-8.
