The table compares the proportion of freshmen who rated various college resources as “very good” across three different majors. What stands out most is that commerce students accounted for the largest share of positive feedback across all types of resources examined. It is also noteworthy that teaching received the highest percentage of “very good” ratings in economics and commerce, but the lowest in law.
An overwhelming majority of economics students expressed high satisfaction with teaching, tutors, and print resources, with the figures standing at 95%, 90%, and 81% respectively. Meanwhile, a similar trend was seen in the less favorably rated categories, namely pre-course information (59%) and other resources (60%).
Among law students, teaching was the least highly regarded aspect, with only 62% of students rating it as satisfactory. Conversely, the highest figure of 80% was recorded for other resources. The satisfaction rates for the remaining resources were relatively similar, hovering around the 73% mark.
Almost 95% of commerce students were pleased with teaching, tutors, and pre-course information. While not as highly rated as the three aforementioned resources, print and other resources still constituted a large share of positive feedback among commerce students, with both standing at around 85%.
