The table lists the proportion of students receiving education at home in SomeCounty in a period of 6 years spanning from 1999 to 2004.
Homeschooling was more prevalent in kindergarten throughout the entire time range. Also, despite slight fluctuations, the popularity of this method of education was on the rise.
Homeschooling among pupils of kindergarten experienced the smallest rise compared to other categories with 2.4 percent of them being educated at home in 1999 and nearly 3 percent of them in 2004. While fifth and sixth graders demonstrated the most substantial growth of 1.1 percent.
In two categories, namely grades 1-2 and grades 5-6, we witness a drop in figures. To be precise, in 2000 and 2001 the figures for the second category hovered around 1.2 and 1.3%. The same trend could be observed in grades 5 and 6 for which the percentage fell from 1.5 to 1.3 and remained static in the following year.
