In 1863, London railway was opened and recorded a 775 million passengers per year. Followed by Paris in year 1900 with 199 kilometeres of route and 1191 million passengers annually recorded which is more than half of the previous year. Tokyo railway was opened in 1927 and recorded as the most passenger with 1927 million per annual compared to Kyoto which only recorded 45 million which is the lowest passengers per year.
Furthermore, Washington DC railway system opened on 1976 with 144 million passengers annually and in 2001 Los Angeles railway system was opened and recorded 50 million passengers annually.
