In 1977, average distance travelled by biking and motorcycling accounted for 100 miles, being least used methods in commuting. The distance accquired by taking taxi was doubled the previous method with 200 miles. The average distance experienced by taking buses was 800 miles and just 100 miles lower than the distance travelled by train with 900, while average walking distance omitted 400 miles. Going by car was the prominent method to travel, which obtained 3500 on average in the same year.
In the period of 30 years, the average distance walked by adults was 100 miles lower while taking the train gained additionally 100 miles.
