The table illustrates the revenue of exported kiwi fruit from New Zealand to five different nations over a period of three year, starting from 2010.
Overall, the amount of money received from exporting kiwi in all countries increased, except Saudi Arabia. Notably, Japan was consistently recorded the highest in exported kiwi revenue, whereas the opposite was true for Saudi Arabia.
Initial, the revenue of kiwi fruit exported to Japan experienced a whopping from $271 million in 2012 to $325.3 million in 2012. A similar pattern was seen in the figure for China, rising from $74.9 million to $94 million between 2010 and 2012. $1,2 million of the exported kiwi to Mexico in 2010 before this figure rose gradually to $3.3 million.
In addition, the amount of money gained from exporting kiwi to Russia was $968,000, $1.585 million and $2.404 million in 2010, 2011 and 2012, respectively. Meanwhile, there was a significant change in the figure for Saudi Arabia, dropping dramatically from $29 million to $82,000, which made this country became the least kiwi importer.
