The figures, which are experienced significant rises over a 30-year period, car, the highest figure for both 1977 and 2007, was used for travelling 3500km in 1977. This rate experienced a significant rise with 7100km, which is two times as high as the rate of 1977. Following this, the usage of taxi for per person showed 400km in 1977, while the average usage doubled in 2007, 800km respectively. 900km was travelled by train in 1977, while this distances witnessed slight growth in 2007 with 1000km.
Looking at the figures that decreased, in 1977, the distance travelled on foot and by bus were 400km and 500km respectively, both of which had dropped by 100km by 2007. Although the distances travelled by bicycle and motorcycle in 1977 were similar (100km), in 2007 they experienced different declines with 90km and 80km respectively.
