The table illustrates the data of tourist for different visitor destinations in Australia in 1996, 1998 and 2002. The table presents 6 tourist sites in Australia with the number of visitors for each year in those specific destinations.
The popularity for each sites were clear in each year by Great Barrier Reef and Central Eastern Rainforest Reserve being the most popular, following by Blue moutains, Tasmania Wilderness, and Shark Bay, and last but not least, Macquarie Island. Even though of the spots had thousands of visitors in each year but Macquarie Island had a significantly low visitor with the lowest number of 310 people in the year of 1998.
While most of the tourist spots had increasing number of tourist, Central Eastern Rainforest Reserve had a decreasing number of visitor in all 3 years and Macquarie Island an overall down trend for its popularity. Great Barrier Reef, in contrast, had its number of tourist almost doubled in the span of 6 years.
