The table provides information regarding statistics in terms of size, arable land, and population for the six biggest countries in the world, namely, Russia, Canada, the USA, China, Brazil, and Australia, in the year 2012.
It is evident that China had the biggest population among these countries, while the figure for Australia was the lowest. Additionally, Russia owned the largest land in this planet, while the amount for arable land ranked only third on the table.
In 2012, China and the US possessed the similar size of land, both had approximately 9.6 million square kilometers, however, around 18.0% of the land in the US were arable, ranking first on the table, which the counterpart figure in China was 14.9%. Noticeably, Russia had about 17.1 million square kilometers of land, which was the highest on the table, followed by Canada, at 10.0. Furthermore, Australia had the least amount of land on the diagram, at only 7.7 million square kilometers of land.
Looking into more details on population, China had the largest population in this year, with 1,347.4 million people, more than the equivalent figures for the rest of the countries combined. Followed by the USA, with only 317.0 million residents, despite owning the same amount area to China. Moreover, although Brazil had 7.0% of its land was arable, it only contained 192.4 million citizens.
