Overall, there were more Chinese tourists in Vietnam than from any other country but Russians in average had a longer stay; however, in case of average spending Australians were way ahead.
In 2014, Vietnam nearly saw one and a half million visitors coming from China which was roughly half a million more than Korea. In third place by numbers was Japan with 571 thousand visitors coming to Vietnam. However, these countries were no where closer to Australia in case of average dollars($) spent with just below 19 hundred USD. In second and third place was UK and USA with 1379 USD and 1238 USD in average spending during their visit.
Russian tourists might not be significant in total visitors count or most money spent but they hold the first position regarding longer stay in the country with just below 18 days. Even though Australia holds the next postion with around 13 days, visitors from China, Japan and Korea also similar stay ranging between 13 and 10 days.
