The table illustrates the distribution of tax revenue in five distinct countries,namely Sweden ,USA ,korea,japan and turkey during the period from 1975 to 2005.
Looking from an overall perspective,it is readily apparent that there were marked shifts among nations .Sweden was consistently the largest share in terms of tax over the period .
In 1975, Sweden topped the list with substantial figure of nearly a half of the tax collection, which exhibited a significant growth from 47% to 70.1% in the last year of the period. The amount of tax collected in the USA and Turkey was initially 25.1% and 16.4%,respectively, both reaching a similar increase at 27.4% in 2005 .
Turning to remaining nations, approximtely 15% of the share of tax revenue in Korea,which slightly exceeded by more than a tenth after 10 years.Despite declining to 26%,this figure recovered to 27.3% in last period. Eventually, there were gradual plunge in the distribution of GDP in Japan, ranging from 15% to 32% in 2005,thus becoming nearly as prominent as Sweden.
