Ranked second, the portion of meat which was consumed weekly per person was 1148 grams in 1992, and this figure saw an increase to 1211 grams in 2002. However, in 2012, there was a considerable decline to 1132 grams in the amount of meat intake, lower than its initial data.
With reference to cheese, starting at 113 grams in 1992, its consumption rose to 125 grams and remained stable for the next ten years. Regarding wheat and bean consumption, both grew steadily, reaching 977 grams and 590 grams, respectively.
