Overall, Americans by age 18-29 have the highest percentage of using internet among all age categories. Meanwhile, least quantity of consumption belongs to elder generation.
Internet users from 18 and 29 prefer watching videos and listening to music online, constituting 74 and 73 per cent. Besides, playing online games and chat with friends are also popular among youngsters, it is 52 and 40 per cent. This results make this generation the largest internet users.
Middle aged individuals shows moderate results, regarding 58 per cent for watching videos and only 25 per cent for communicating with their friends via social medias. It is interesting that American people by age 50 and 64 have similar percentage for playing games, it is around 30 per cent. Eldest’s people aged 65 plus demonstrates lowest trend, reaching only 8 per cent for talking with good ones online and 26 per cent for watching video games.
