As the table shows, How people from the UK spent their time while they were not employed last year. Data is categorised into four different sections by men and women who used to work at different shifts which also sub-categorised into morning and afternoon.
Statistics provides understanding of how the time that have been spent by these people constructed into different activities of their respective day. As men, who worked in the morning shifts spent 19 percent of their time doing housework. However comparatively, afternoon men just made it to 7 percent of their day’s.
Moreover, morning women nearly spent half of their day doing chores. surprisingly to women who worked in afternoon shifts spent over 20 percent of their day. As information also suggests, men who used to work as in early shifts of the day engaged themselves in shopping and entertainment more than as they should in seeking job. They nearly spent half of their day by keeping them entertained, whether by being with friends and relatives or entertaining themselves by drinking, watching television, or shopping etc. While on the opposite side to men, Morning women enjoyed shopping more.
In contrast to that, Significantly less amount of sporting activities among the women of all kinds indicates higher amount of energy consumed by doing housework, meanwhile adding 16 percent time of their day which goes into finding employment.
