A study was conducted in the UK about how the majority of unemployed men and women spend their time on a daily basis.

We can see that in the morning, women tend to be more active engaging in housework and shopping, while on the other hand men enjoy spending their morning gardening and job hunting. 8% of men and women enjoy staying in bed and 3% prefer doing nothing and sitting around. 9% of men enjoy reading in the morning and only 5% of women enjoy reading. Only a very few percentage of men and women enjoy drinking in the morning.

In the afternoon, women are more active doing housework, shopping, job hunting, and visiting friends while men enjoy more of gardening and watching TV. Both genders love to go out walking and almost zero percent of men and women like staying in bed.
