The table illustrates the music listening habits of Tokyo’s youth over the last month while the pie chart display a record company’s global research, between live and recorded music, findings on the preference.
Overall, the percentages of live preference was highest with 70% in the bar chart. On the other hand, in the table, MP3 was the most chosen method by the young people.
Starting from the table, males used more audio player than females, excluding CDs. The proportions of males used CDs player were about 19% while the females were 22%. In addition, the ratios of males used MP3 players were highest with 79%, followed by live music and the internet with 60% and 55%, respectively.
As observed from the pie chart, it was a clear difference between two kinds of preference. The live reference was highest with 70%. In constract, the recorded preference reached 26%. However, 4% of people did not have any type of preference.
