In contrast, the emission in the US showed a different pattern, with a fall from 5900 million tons in 2005 to just 5000 million tons in 2006, while its average CO2 produced was the highest compared to other four nations. Russian and Japanese CO2 production maintained the same, stantding at 1699 and 1100 million tons respectively in both years.
