To be specific, the rate of people, who aged 65 and above rise from 16.32% to 20.67% and 20.45% to 25.32%, respectively. Meanwhile, the percentage of old people in UK stayed nearly unchanged between 1988 and 2000, which was 14.23 and 14.89, correspondingly.
