The table indicates the distribution of women in labour and management in five countries, including Australia, Egypt, SriLanka, Japan and US.
In Australia and US, the figures in both the labour force and the management were relatively high, whereas relatively low in Egypt. Notably, the gap between two sectors was significantly big in sri Lanka and Japan.
Looking at the table closely, the roughly half of people who worked in the labour force and the management in Australia and US were women, and two contries had same figure at 43% in the management sector. Meanwhile US recorded the higher proportion in the labour force than Australia, representing 46%, and the gap was 4 points. However, Egypt had low women involvement in both two sectors, at 20% in the labour force and at 12% in the management. The former percatage was nealy half of that in Austalia and US. Notably, Japan had the highest women proportion in the labour, but that in the management was smaller than nearly 3 times. Same trend was also seen in sri Lanka, althouth they recored the high share in the labour, their perentage in other sector accounted for the lowest figure.
