The table compares the percentages of women in the Labor Force and in management positions in five diverse countries.
Overall, it can be seen that the percentages of female workers in Australia and the United States are not significantly different. In contrast, the number of women working in the labor force in Egypt, Sri Lanka, and Japan is considerably higher than the number of managers.
In terms of women in the labor force, Japan had the highest percentage at 48%, yet only 17% of management positions were held by women representing a substantial difference. A similar pattern can be observed in Sri Lanka, where 42% of women were part of the labor force, compared to 9% in management.
In contrast, the United States demonstrated a minimal gap, with 46% of women in the labor force and 43% of management. Australia showed a comparable trend, as women accounted for 38% of the labor force and 43% of management positions. Egypt recorded the lowest labor force participation at 20%, while 12% of management roles were occupied by women.
