Meanwhile, the populations of Korea and Argentina were lower, with respective numbers being 48 million and 34 million in the same year.
In the next 47 years, the number of Indonesians is forecast to increase significantly and reach 312 in 2050. Similarly, the Korean and Argentinian population is predicted to witness the same trend, with figures for the former being expected to grow slightly to 52 million in 2025 and remain at this level until 2050, while figures for the latter is projected to see a moderate growth to 62 million in the last year of the period. By contrast, Italia is anticipated to see a decline in population, being predicted to hit 45 million in 2050.
