Overall, males received significantly more per week in all given occupations compared to their female counterparts. Meanwhile, professionals were the highest-paid-positions for both genders, while manual laborers were the lowest paid.
Starting with male workers, in 2015, the highest-paid positions for men were professional jobs, receiving a weekly salary of $2000. Technicians received the second-largest weekly salary, at around $1400, while those working in clerical and administrative positions received around $1350. Service workers were paid $1300 a week, while manual laborers received $1100.
Females, on the other hand, earned comparatively less in all positions. Professionals were paid $1900 a week, which was almost double that of the second-highest-paid position of administrative and clerical workers, at $1000. Service workers received $950 a week, while technicians earned $900. Female manual laborers were also paid the lowest amount of money, at $850 weekly.
