The table illustrates how many exports in HK billions there were in 2009 and 2010 as well as these changes in percentages.
Overall, the figures for four of six items grew, while that of remaining two fell. Moreover, the number for metals experienced the highest growth across other items.
In 2009, the exports of equipment and telecommunication were the highest with 10.3 for the former and 7.9 for the latter. One year later the number for the former experienced 13% growth to 11.6, whereas that of the latter also went up by 61% to 12.7. Likewise, there were metals whose increase was the largest from 2.3 in 2009 to 5.1 in 2010 with 122% growth. All these growths allowed overall figure to went up by 20% form 32 in 2009 to 38 in 2010.
On the other hand, some figures witnessed a decline. Clothing and manufacturing started with about 5.75 for both(6 for clothing and 5.5 for manufacturing), after which these numbers dipped to 5 and 4 respectively with 17% decline for clothing and 27% decline for manufacturing.
