Overall, although, the popularity of amusement parks fluctuated during that period, while the British museum and the Rijksmuseum gradually increased. It still showed clear dominance among the given attractions. In contrast, zoos had the lowest result and remain stable with the same relatively small numbers to them.
In 1981, the British museum and the Rijksmuseum had average numbers of visitors, 2.98 and 2.44 million, respectively. However, by the time, they significantly increased in popularity up to 4.30 and just below it in 2001. In contrast, the popularity of National Aquatic Centre, which had more visitors at the begining, dramaticly declined to 3.21 million.
