The table compares the consumption of three different foods – rice, wheat and maize, by inhabitants of four particular countries. Overall, Cambodia shows the biggest rice consumption across the table, while the highest quantity of wheat is eaten by people from Egypt. As for maize, it is the most liked by Mexican people compared to others. Interestingly, in Poland, maize is not consumed by people during the day.
Focusing first on the countries that illustrate the higher ingestion, Cambodia heads the list with 1445 calories from rice daily. While wheat consumption provides 18 calories, that of maize shows 103 calories per day. With reference to Egypt, people consume rice, that equals to 501 calories in a day and the consumption of wheat leads the pack with 1095 calories. Finally, the calories of maize eaten by Egyptians is 578.
Turning to the remaining countries, consuming fewer food, the eating of rice and wheat in Mexico shows 57 and 275 calories respectively. As far as maize is concerned, it ranks first with 1083 calories as opposed to other countries on the table. Lastly, Poland residents obtain 19 calories from rice. This is followed distantly by wheat, showing 865 calories, whereas the consumption of maize is 0 calories each day.
