The table present the information about employment of first degree graduates from Scotland , England , Wales and Northern Ireland in 2001.
Overall, Scotland had the highest percentage of total employment while Northern Ireland recorded the lowest. Aleo permanent employment show the highest percentage than temporary and overseas employments.
Scotland had the highest proportion of graduates in permanent employment at 43.6%, followed by England at 33% and Wales at 30%. Northern Ireland had the lowest figure with only 20% of its graduate securing permanent jobs. Temporary employment more prevalent in England , accounting for 23% while the lowest figure was observed in Northern Ireland at 8.6%.
Regarding overseas employment Northern Ireland les with 5% while England and Scotland had the 2.3% and 2.6% of graduates. Wales had a slightly higher percentage at 2.9% . Total employment had the highest percentage in Scotland with the 66.4% while Northern Ireland show the significant decrease with only 33.6%z England and Wales had a 58.3% and 45.3% total employment rates.
