The table illustrates the leisure time hours’ per year of Somelands’ population according to their age group.
Overall, it is clear that the relaxing time hours’ varies based on their age. The highest proportion of hours was spent on watching television, while the lowest number of hours was noted in cinema.
It is evident that hours spent on watching television was higher in all age categories, although it was mostly focussed by teens and people aged 70, at about more than 1000 hours. Socialising with 4 or less people ranged between 150 to 300, which was largely seen in people who are in their 30s. However, social interactions with more than 4 was reduced after the age of 30.
Only people in their 50s and 60s spent less than 100 hours in individual exercise. Although this remained the same with group exercise in individuals aged 50, and no hours was spent by people who aged more than that. Finally, the leisure hours spent on cinema was less than 100 in all categories.
