The following table illustrates the share of male and female workers, as well as their total labourforce and the quantity of factories Germany from 1851 and 1901.
Overall, the number of factories has increased while the total employees number and both women and men rate has deaclined over the 50-year period.
It is clear that, the initial quantity of male employes in Germany accounted for almost 290,000 while in the following decade, the figure witnessed a decline to just over 130,000 and quantity of factories constituted 225. Number of women workers in 1861 made up exactly 160,000 and in last year it acounted for 190,000 whereas only two factories were added in this year. In 1871, the men employees nubmer constituted 80,123 and the proportion of female workers dropped by 100,00, falling from 160,000 to 60,000. Total employees number made up 140,123 in this year whereas quantity of factories amount to 622.
In 1881, the share of male employees accounted for 76,132 while female number 50,000. Number of factories has climbed to 721 in this year. In following decade the female workers number made up 65,000 while men 40,000. Total employees quantity constituted 105,00 and there was 625 factories. Number of male made up 31,000 and women 30,00 whereas factories proportion amount to 600 in 1901.
