Overall, the technology sector had the most increase over the years while building sector dwindled over time. The education sand hotel and catering sectors remained relatively stable.
First of all, the technology sector witenessed an increase in the numbers of people working in 2006, especially ages 18-25 and 26-35, that is almost over the double of 1998. For example, in year 1998, the number of people working in technology sector where 5,497 in age group 18-25, but the number in 2006 is 187,600.
However, in the buidling sector, the number plummeted as the number of people decreased, especially at the age groups of 18-25 and 26-35. In the first group, it used to be 122,565 people working in the sector in 1998 then it decreased to 86,430. In the second group, there were 79,607 people working in 1998 while in 2006 it decreased to 46,409.Second, the education sector remained relatively stable going over all age groups. Also, in hotel and catering sector it reamined relatively stable except for one age group which is 18-25, where it saw a decrease in numbers of people working in that sector; however, the rest of age groups remained almost stable.
