The table displays the annual milk production, in litres, in four countries — the Netherlands, Australia, Tanzania, and Guatemala — in the years 1990, 2000, and 2010.
Overall, the Netherlands consistently produced the highest amount of milk throughout the period, while Guatemala had the lowest output. Although milk production declined in Australia, it increased significantly in Tanzania and Guatemala.
In 1990, the Netherlands and Australia had similar milk production levels, at 11.26 and 11.25 million litres respectively. By 2000, both countries experienced slight declines, and while the Netherlands rebounded slightly in 2010 to 11.47 million litres — the highest figure recorded — Australia saw a notable drop to 9.17 million litres.
Meanwhile, Tanzania’s milk production grew dramatically from just 87,000 litres in 1990 to over 1.5 million litres in 2010. Guatemala also experienced steady growth, rising from 26,000 litres to 84,000 litres over the same period, although it remained the lowest producer among the four nations.
