Overall, the Netherlands and Australia exhibited quite a similar pattern, with both experiencing a decline in milk production, whereas Tanzania and Guatemala saw a significant increase.
The Netherlands witnessed a gradual decrease in the amount of milk produced from 11.2 millions to 11.1millions liters in 2000.Likewise, Australia’s figure dropped in the same period and continued. By 2010, it had declined for nearly 2millions liter started with 11.2 millions in 1990. However, milk production in the Netherland managed to recover and rose to 11.4millions liters.
In constrast,Tanzania experienced as significant increase in the production of milk per year. In 1990 stood at 87k and rose gradually for the next 2 decades reaching it peak at 155k. Similary, Guatemala increased from 26k to 55k then 84k in 1990, 2000 and 2010 respectively.
