The table compares the production of milk in four different countries -Netherlands, Australia, Tanzania, Guatemala in 1990,2000 and 2010.
Overall, the Netherlands and Australia produced far more milk than the other two countries throughout the period. While milk increased slightly in the Netherlands and in Tanzania and Guatemala, Australia experienced a noticeable decline by 2010.
In 1990, the Netherlands was the largest producer, with about 11.26 million liters, closely followed by Australia at 11.24 million liters. In 2000, production in both countries fell slightly to around 11.15 million in the Netherlands and 11.11 million in Australia. By 2010, however, the Netherlands recovered to approximately 11.47 million liters, whereas Australia’s output dropped to about 9.17 million liters.
in contrast, Tanzania and Guatemala produced much smaller amount of milk. Tanzania’s production increased steadily from 87,000 liters in 1990 to 155,000 liters in 2010. Similarly, Guatemala saw continuous growth rising from 26,000 to 84,000 liters over the same period.
In summary, European and Australian prodution remined dominant , although Australia’s output declined, while the two smaller producers experienced gradual growth.
