The table gives information about the result of a survey carried out on the first year students who offer different courses at a certain higher institution. It reveals the number of students that saw different areas of their subjects as very good. Overall, it can be seen that commerce was ranked best amongst economics and law in all domains surveyed. The unit of measurement is in percentage.
To begin, 95% of the first year students saw pre-course aspect of commerce as very good which is the highest followed by law which had 72% thus making Economics the least with 55% students. In terms of teaching quality, commerce and economics were rated the same with a value of 95%. There was a 1% difference in the tutor support criteria between commerce and economics as they both had 93% and 92% respectively
On the other hand, while 81% rated Commerce as having very good print resources, 70% of them rated law thereby making economics the least in that domain with only 59%
