Overall, the commerce course has the highest rating across all aspects, making it the most highly regarded among first-year students. The law course also receives positive feedback about different courses, while the results collected from the economics highlight the need for improvement in pre-course information as well as resources.
Regarding commerce, almost all students express great satisfaction with pre-course, teaching quality and tutor support , with 93% to 95%, rating these aspects as “very good”. The figure for resources were slightly lower, varing between 81% and 86%, however, there are still higher than the rate of other courses.
When it comes to law, the aspect with the highest proportion of students reporting satisfaction are resources other than printed material and tutour support, with 80% and 79%, respectively. Around 70% of students rated traditional printed materials and pre-course information as “very good”. Meanwhile, teaching is the area that needs most improvement because it recorded around 67% of students being satisfied with their professors.
Economics show mixed results. Notably, they excel in teaching and tutor support, with over 90% of students rating these aspects as “very good”. On the other hand, just around 55% to 62% of students rated pre-course and resources as “very good”
